FAQS

More about our products

Unlike A shares or Hong Kong stocks, U.S. stocks do not adopt the concept of a board lot, and therefore there is no trading unit limit. The minimum trading unit is 1 share.

Unlike A shares, U.S stocks are not subject to single-day price rise and fall limits, therefore investors should carefully monitor price movements.

U.S. stocks adopt the T+2 settlement process. Clearance and settlement of trade are completed on the 2nd trading day after the day of the trade.

Day trade is a pattern of security trading. It refers to an investor buying and selling a particular stock or stock options position within the same day. Day trades are also called T+0 trades.

The minimum trading unit for Chinese A-shares is a "board lot," which typically consists of 100 shares. Investors can only buy in whole lots, but they can sell remaining fractional shares

Chinese A-shares have daily price rise and fall limits of 10%. Some risk alert stocks have stricter limits of 5%. This differs from U.S. stocks, which do not have daily price movement limits.

Chinese A-shares use a T+1 settlement process, meaning that shares can be sold one trading day after purchase. This is different from the T+2 settlement used for U.S. stocks.

Day trading is not permitted for Chinese A-shares, meaning investors cannot buy and sell the same stock on the same trading day. This contrasts with U.S. stocks, where day trading is allowed.

The minimum trading unit for HK stocks is “1 lot”, which may equal to 100 shares, 500 shares, 1,000 shares, 2,000 shares, etc., depending on stock price. For example, 1 lot equals to 100 shares for Tencent Holdings Ltd and 500 shares for BYD AUTO. Where share holdings are less than 1 lot, it is called “odd lot”. For instance, in Tencent Holdings Ltd, 1 lot equals to 100 shares, so if one holds 150 shares of Tencent, then 50 shares thereof become odd lot. Odd lot usually occurs when a company carries out bonus issue or rights issue.

Like US stock market, HK stock market is not subject to 10% limit up/down system.

HK stocks trading is subject to the T+2 delivery system, that is, for shares traded today, the securities company and clearing house will carry out the settlement and delivery of funds and shares on the second workday after clearing.

Short Selling is not allowed.

The minimum trading unit for Australian stocks is 1 share.

No, we currently do not offer short-selling for Australian stocks.

We currently support two order types: Limit Order and Market Order.

Australian stocks operate on a T+2 settlement basis. This means that transactions are settled two business days after the trade date.
